We expect our students, parents, and teachers to form a partnership to ensure the finest educational opportunity for our students. Our parents are therefore expected to recognize that the education of their child/children requires cooperative responsibility of the parents, school, community, and students.

Parents should….

• Send your child/children to school ready to participate and learn.

• Ensure that your child/children attend school regularly and on time.

• Ensure that absences are explained by providing written notification.

• Ensure that your child/children are dressed according to dress code and consistent with this handbook.

Parents should convey to your child/children a supportive attitude toward education and the school and build a good relationship with the teachers, parents, and their friends. It is essential that parents….

• Help your child/children deal with peer pressure in a positive manner.

• Inform school officials of changes in the home situation that may affect students conduct or performances.

• Provide a place for study and ensure homework assignments are complete.

• Aid in the development of social skill
